Domestic Travel Health Certificate

Domestic Travel

•If you are flying within the United States (and this excludes Hawaii), you will most likely need a national health certificate.

•We would recommend calling the airline that you are flying with to confirm that a health certificate is needed and how many days in advance of the flight the health certificate should be written.  The USDA considers a health certificate to be valid for 30 days, but most airlines require the health certificate to be written within 10 days of the flight.

•We will need to examine your cat at that time that the health certificate is written and to provide proof of a current rabies vaccination.  A rabies vaccination can be given at the time that the health certificate is written, if needed.
